What is HSSO?

We are students and faculty who wish to share experience and contacts within the helping professions. Some of our activities include:

• Speakers from local agencies

• Workdays at local non-profits for Service Learning hours

• Fundraising

• Advocacy, including a trip to Tallahassee for Lobby Day

• And much, MUCH more.

Mission Statement

• To foster awareness of the needs in the community as well as to support human service agencies through fundraising and volunteering.  It is also an opportunity for members to be better prepared for the field through involvement and networking.
