Step-by-step Process to play at a Partner Facility:

(3)    Call, or stop by the PGM office 24 hours before your tee time to verify your exact starting time.  Again, do not contact the golf course directly.

(4)    Arrive at the golf course before your tee time.

(5)    Check-in with the pro shop to verify your identity and pay appropriate fees.

Show your ID and/or your PGA Apprentice Card

In using these golf facilities, it is important to remember that you are not only representing yourself as a future golf professional, but you are representing the Professional Golf Management Program as well as Florida Gulf Coast University.  While a positive reflection may not immediately be felt at all levels of representation, a negative one will create an immediate ripple effect throughout the college and community.  This will certainly hinder our chances of maintaining the current relationships with our partner facilities as well as establishing new ones.  It is an absolute privilege to have the type of golf courses that have partnered with this program to practice and play on.

Violations:

Any violation of PGM specific or individual golf course policies regarding practice and play at partner facilities will result in an immediate loss of playing privileges for a specified amount of time.  Depending on the severity of the infraction, the student may be removed from the Professional Golf Management program all together.

The length of the suspension will be decided by PGM Director Dr. Steve Eisenberg and will be for a minimum of the duration of the current semester.

Statement of Understanding:

I have read the Policies and Procedures Manual regarding Practice and Play for the Florida Gulf Coast University Professional Golf Management Program, and my signature below indicates that I am familiar with all provisions within this document, and understand that if I do not abide by the policies contained within, I will be subject to the outlined discipline by the Director of the PGM Program.
