Application Procedure


  1. Review Admissions Requirements [more]
    ( ) High School GPA
    ( ) SAT or ACT test scores
    ( ) Foreign Language Requirements [more]
    ( ) Non-traditional program of study Requirements (ie. home schooling, GED)

  2. Take the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and have official test scores sent to FGCU.

  3. Visit the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University. [more]

  4. Submit the State University System application for admission. [more]
    ( ) Be sure to properly fill out the Residence Statement and provide the proper signatures.
    ( ) Be sure to complete the code of conduct section and provide any necessary documentation if needed.
    ( ) Be sure to sign the application.

  5. Submit the non-refundable $30.00 application fee (payable to Florida Gulf Coast University)

  6. Submit the 'Professional Golf Management Prospective Application' and the 'Handicap Verification Form' located in the Forms section of the PGM Website to :

  7. Have your high school send official high school transcripts reflecting all completed coursework to Florida Gulf Coast University. (Applicants who hold a GED must submit official GED test score results and their GED certificate.)

  8. If you have taken dual enrollment courses during high school, have the institution send an official copy of your college transcript reflecting your coursework completed at that institution.

  9. Complete a housing application and send in your deposit if you plan on living on campus at FGCU. [more]

  10. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1 of your senior year in high school to qualify for federal aid.

  11. Check with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for priority deadlines for scholarship applications. [more]

  12. Provide proof of immunization before registering for classes.

  13. After you receive your admission letter, be sure to register for a freshman orientation. [more]
