Instructor Jeff Jinian received his BA degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida, and his MPA degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is currently a PhD candidate at Florida Atlantic University. Jeff has over 10 years experience working in both education and administration. During the time Jeff was pursing his Masters Degree in Public Administration here at Florida Gulf Coast University, he was also employed by the College of Professional Studies as a counselor as well as an adjunct professor. During this time, Jeff’s work with FGCU students took place mostly in a traditional classroom capacity. As the Internship Coordinator for the Division, Jeff works personally with each student to assist them in securing their internship at each agency and integrating their academic knowledge with their experiential knowledge, as they continue to learn in their internship studies placements outside the classroom. Justice Studies Division internship placements are available in the disciplines of criminal justice, criminal forensics and legal studies. Jeff is passionate about helping both his students and the Justice Studies Internship Program grow and expand along with the university. Internship Website; Justice Studies Internship Newsletter
